	1	2				March 28, 2010 we got a visit from A Ragamuffin Band... Rick Elias, Jimmy Abegg, Mark Robertson, and Ben Pearson. They were to perform a local gig later that week and were considering touring again. Listen for a wonderful LIVE version of "Man of No Reputation".
	1	2	3			It had been a few years since our last visit from Gary Chapman. We got caught up and so much more on March 21, 2010. Gratefully, Gary brought his guitar and played a new song he had written.
	1					March 8, 2009 was a most exciting experience for me. Dion DiMucci spent almost 30 minutes with us on the phone. This guy: an inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a pioneer in rock music, and because of $36 decided NOT to get on a chartered airplane which crashed and took the lives of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper in 1959. Dion began a deep spiritual search which eventually led him to the Lord. In this brief conversation, we talk about everything from him turning 70 to growing up in the Bronx listening to Hank Williams to his latest recording. We even talked about his face on the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's cover.
	1	2	3			Gordon Kennedy has been a good friend for so many years... way back in the day he was the guitar player for Whiteheart. He's an amazing singer, songwriter, producer AND he has a tremendous connection to the history of Nashville music: Country and CCM. He grew up close to a guy I had always wanted to meet... Jerry Reed. I'd hear stories from Gordon during the last years of Jerry's life that he had become a believer... a no-nonsense strong believer. I love to hear Gordon's stories. When Jerry Died on Sept 1, 2008, I asked him to come in and share some of the things about Jerry Reed no one else would ever tell you. Even tho Jerry had nothing to do with CCM and never appeared on my show, I think you will find Gordon's stories extremely interesting. Jerry was a fascinating man and I look forward to seeing him again someday.

We could have easily filled several more hours with talk of his past in secular music (his group, The Hondells had a top 10 hit in 1964 with "Little Honda"), being a hippie in Hawaii, eventually getting saved and being a member of the early Jesus Movement group, Love Song. We promised to have a follow-up interview soon to have him finish his story!

He brought with him the recording from her funeral. I am so glad we did this. Listen to this shorter-than-usual and more sober-than-usual time with Gary and I think you'll agree... Mary Chapman's life goes on!

As much as his music still impacts us, his life continues to challenge us... not to be like him, but to really know that God uses imperfect things to draw us to Jesus. After an incredible concert the previous Friday night at the Lighthouse Coffeehouse, Jim Smith (author of Rich's devotional /biography "An Arrow Pointing To Heaven"), his wife Meghan, and Rich's long-time friend, Kathy Sprinkle joined us to share their memories of Rich.
